Here today, I will right about POP advertising. I am sure all of you might have notice many posters, banners, window displays,shelf-mounted signs, hanging posters. In shops, malls, multibrand stores while purchasing your groceries or cloths or your favorite CD's or merchandise or something else.
"This kind of advertising is designed to catch shopper’s attention at particular place such checkout counters, exactly behind cashier by utilizing display around them through various kind of posters, banners, window displays, floor stands display bins, counter displays etc…"
These displays are generally prepared and distributed by manufacturer to retailer, stockist or wholesaler who sells their product or merchandise.In some case retailers are paid to display this Point of purchase advertising material or either get discount on cost of merchandise.
Point of purchase material is a very effective tool for all categories and companies...such as companies in FMCG or FMCD or industrial product or services.
In today competitive environment when you use POP it proves to be most effective because your hitting right in the head when shopper is actually going to make decision regarding purchase.
